Just when I thought we’d better get ready for Christmas, I changed my mind and decided we’d better hit the gas and shoot a film for Tropfest!

Allie tells a story of love between Bob and his step-daughter and their shared passion for classic cars.

It’s a film that has been in my mind’s eye since I met Bob and Allie about two years ago at a car show.

With the help and generous support of Monster and Bear productions, Panavision, Savage Film Services, The Mountain Goats and The Editors rigging combined with an A+ team of professionals we banded together to get behind a ‘thought’ that shines a light on disability and vintage cars.

My approach with this film was to trace a documentary style narrative based on real-life interviews and then embellish the story with a creative twist and stylised cinematography.
