ALLIE places 3rd and wins best cinematography at Tropfest 2019

My short documentary Allie has taken third place and won best cinematography overall at Tropfest 2019.

It’s been a wild ride. It wasn’t until halfway through shooting my producer candidly suggested that we could insert some ‘candles’ (the Tropfest Signature Item) into our film and enter it. With an incredible effort from everyone involved, we got the film across the line for their deadline. I couldn’t believe it when we got shortlisted, followed by selected at finalist, followed by the weekend announcement of 3rd and best cinematography to David Franjic. Wowee!

I really couldn’t thank the crew, cast and production enough for giving this project 1000000% effort and making it what it was. I can’t wait to share it with everyone.
